Jan 27, 2012  WSS 3.0 Timer Job Immediate Alerts Fails. Uninstalled Sophos 10 client and it works. Only took 25 hours to figure it out. My theory is that this began when Version 10 was recently installed. Looks like Sophos may have hired some Symantec engineers recently. Went to Sophos and much happier. So I uninstalled the security addon it installed and it removed EVERY AVG product I had. I then re-installed and I keep getting these damn popups. At this rate, I am going to be forced into getting another Anti-Virus.
